Ralph & Maria have been involved with bulldogs since 1989,
firstly buying a family pet and over the years turning to breeding,
showing & judging. We have been committee members of the London
Bulldog Society for a number of years, Maria is the societies
Treasurer and Ralph is the Show Manager.
We have lovely
kennels in the Sussex countryside set in five acres for the dogs to
exercise on. Maria is at home all day to look after the dogs they are
all exercised daily, Ralph is in charge of the popular late night
supper of hand
fed liver and sausages prior to lights out.
The health
of our dogs is extremely important to us, our dogs must be able to run
freely and live a good active long life, nearly all of our dogs are
living to between 10- 13 years. We try to encourage our
bitches to self whelp and have had two bitches self whelp this year.
Our show team consists of CH Hillplace Iron Lady
15 CC`s & 13 RCC`s, Best opposite Sex Bulldog of the year 2007, Best opposite Sex Bulldog of the year 2008, Top CC winning Bulldog Bitch 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Hillplace Iron Lady along with Hillplace Candy Man, Hillplace Iron Man
and Hillplace Maid of Iron, are all qualified for Crufts 2010.
Hillplace Golly is a very popular girl both in the ring and out, she is taking a
break for motherhood, nursing her two self whelped puppies.
Hillplace Goodwill is waiting in the wings until he is big enough to show.
Hillplace Bulldogs are able to offer home boarding for bulldogs if you
are going on holiday.
We offer spacious kennels in a peaceful stress
free environment living along side our dogs.They can enjoy open
air loose exercise in a safe secure environment and you can relax in
the knowledge that your dog is being cared for by breed specialists.
Current cost for accommodation is £12 per dog per day. (Late night supper
included).
Hillplace Bulldogs are always pleased to see their stock in the show
